Format & Details:

• All tournaments are one-day with exception of Volley-Jolley & Bid Championships which are two-Days
• Pool Play + Single Elimination Championship Bracket
• Doors Open: 7:00 AM
• Coaches Meeting: 7:30 AM
• First Serve: 8:00 AM
• USA Volleyball Rules of Play as well as Uniform Rules will govern the Adult Tournament Series with the exception of the Volley-Jolley where Christmas themed jerseys are encouraged with only a back  jersey number required
• USA Volleyball/Gulf Coast Region Officials will Officiate all events
• Divisions Offered:
  • AA/A- Mens, Womens
  • BB/B- Mens, Womens
  • Sitting- Coed, Mens, Womens
• Awards for 1st & 2nd Place in each division

Entry Fee:

• $200.00 per team for first four events. All Active Military Teams will receive a full entry fee reimbursement at the conclusion of play at each of the regular season first four events.
• The last event - Adult Bid Championship the entry fee will be $300 and again will be “Free” for Active Military teams that have played in 3 of the 4 regular season events.

2025-2026 Adult Tournament Series Dates

Volley-Jolley Christmas Tournament

• Dec 13th & 14th, 2025

• Play, stay, and enjoy a Christmas theme event in Foley, Alabama. All players will receive a Christmas Gift from the GCR. Santa will spend three hours Saturday afternoon taking “Christmas Wishes” and photos with on the Santa Stage with all Children “both young and old”.
• Christmas music all weekend and to end the day Saturday a players social with Christmas Food and Festivities for all will be held. Teams are encouraged to wear Christmas themed uniforms and see who will "WIN the BEST CHRISTMAS UNIFORM” contest.

American Riviera “Ole Glory” New Years Tournament

• January 3, 2026 – Gulf Shores, AL – Gulf Coast Event Center- One day tournament

33rd Annual Gulf Coast Classic Tournament

• February 14, 2026 – Gulf Shores, AL– Gulf Coast Event Center- One day tournament

Spring Break “Surf’s Up” Tournament

• March 20, 2026 – Valparaiso, FL – 850 Elite volleyball Center- One day tournament

Gulf Coast Region Adult Bid Championships

• Apr 25 & 26, 2026 –Mobile, AL – Mobile Convention Center

• This is the GCR qualifying tournament to participate in the USA Volleyball Adult Open to be played in Orlando, Florida May 23 to May 28, 2026. The Gulf Coast Region will cover the entry fee for “ALL ACTIVE” Gulf Coast Region Military teams to play in Orlando at the 2026 USA Open as well as all GCR Bid Champions.

The Gulf Coast Region Adult Tournament Series will be using Volleyball Life for all tournament registration, scheduling, and tournament formatting.
