Junior USAV/GCR Membership Types & Fees


If you are school aged or younger, you need some type of junior membership to participate in Gulf Coast Region events and programming. We offer junior membership options ranging from tryout memberships to league memberships to full memberships. We even offer a FREE youth membership for kids under the age of 8. Please contact your club director for more information.

Please note: All membership purchases are non-refundable. If you have questions please contact your club director or the Gulf Coast Region registrar. 

The Gulf Coast Region and USA Volleyball offer two categories of memberships, please see below:

  • Full Memberships- provides playing/ training opportunities in Local, Regional, and National USAV events.
  • Limited Memberships-provides playing/ training opportunities in certain GCR events only. 

Note: There will be a separate USAV and Gulf Coast Region charge on your credit card statement per membership. 

JUNIOR FULL MEMBERSHIPS

Junior Aged Coach- SafeSport & Impact required

  • Only for Coaches aged 17 and below
  • For individuals who want to coach or play and coach.

Junior Player- SafeSport required
  • Ages 17-19 and still in high school
 Aug 1, 2025 to July 31, 2026 $95

Junior Player- Outdoor/Beach

  • Only needed if player does not have a full junior membership and wants to participates primarily in outdoor GCR events . 
  • Members are allowed to play for different Clubs between Indoor and Beach. If you are a member of Club A for Indoor, and you want to play Beach for Club B. There is no need to change clubs in the system.

Developmental Training ages 13+ 

Local Training (7th-12th, ages 13+)

  • Developmental players 13 and older may only train.
 Aug 1, 2025 to July 31, 2026 $55

 

  • Members in the four developmental categories can only practice and train with their clubs.
    • Only members in the 8U Free, 9-10 Youth, and 11-12 Developmental can play in Gulf Coast Region Grassroot events.
  • Members must upgrade to full memberships to participate in regular junior USAV sanctioned events.

Fall Academy/League Membership

Fall League Membership

  • This membership allows players to participate in training sessions and training events only. Players must upgrade their memberships in order to participate in Regular Junior events.

  • Must upgrade to regular junior member once selected by a club. Cost of upgrade is $95.00 girls, $75.00 boys. The tryout fee is not applicable towards the full junior membership fee.
