SAFE SPORT Certification requirements for 2018 and beyond has taken on a new training requirement, a new URL and a new emphasis on education of all Sport Sport principals and policies as safeguards to our Junior Members and their participation in the sport we all value
USAV will be transitioning to a two-season SafeSport cycle starting with the 2018-2019 season.
What this means is that anyone that has taken Safe Sport in the past either as a stand alone course or as coursework included in IMPACT Certification Training will remain Safe Sport certified through October 31st of 2018 after which that member will have to recertify under the new Safe Sport requirements. If recertification takes place this year then that member is good through the 2019 season.
If one of your Club Adult members needs Safe Sport Certification training then they should follow the "NEW" location and advisories from USA Volleyball which are below.
Please be advised that the U.S. Center for SafeSport new course modules are now available. The coursework is being delivered through the USAV Academy. Accessing the course through the USAV Academy is critical to tracking certification and expiration dates. Members we will access the course exclusively through the USAV Academy do not access through the USOC SafeSport website.
To register for SafeSport training:
Should you need to return to your coursework at a later time, log in to your USAV account and click on the button.

Note from USAV Safe Sport new programming
USAV encourages members who are already SafeSport certified to review the newly created Reporting Child Sexual Abuse module via communications on multiple media platforms as we’d like to close the gap between the original SafeSport course and the new program with as many members as quickly as possible.
