The Gulf Coast Region: Fair and Competitive Divisions

The Gulf Coast Region is committed to fostering competitive and developmentally appropriate play by organizing divisions based on skill level. Our goal is to ensure that every team has the opportunity to compete, grow, and experience success throughout the season.

To support this mission, tournaments may include the following divisions:

• USA Division: This is our top-tier division, designed for higher-level teams (Tier 1 and Tier 2). Teams with a national AES power ranking between 0–2000 should register for this division.

• American Division: This division is intended strictly for developing or lower-level teams. Teams with an AES national power ranking above 2000 (2001 and up) are eligible. Higher-ranked teams should not register for the American Division to maintain competitive balance.

We encourage all clubs to reference AES National Rankings when selecting divisions to ensure proper placement and a quality experience for all participants.
